2. Purposes and legal bases

• Handling enquiries: processing information requests submitted by email or other contact channels. Legal basis: data subject's consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
• Commercial relationship: managing the contractual or pre-contractual relationship with customers, distributors and business partners. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Legal obligations: fulfilling requirements imposed by applicable legislation (tax, commercial, employment law). Legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
• Our own commercial communications: sending information about Marexi products and services to contacts with a prior commercial relationship. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), pursuant to Art. 21 LSSI. Data subjects may object at any time.

3. Categories of data processed

We process primarily identification and professional contact data: full name, company, job title, email address and telephone number, voluntarily provided by the data subject or obtained in the context of commercial relationships. No special-category data (Art. 9 GDPR) is collected or processed.

4. Retention period

Data will be retained for the duration of the commercial relationship or until the data subject requests deletion. Once the relationship ends, data will be kept in a duly restricted state for the applicable legal limitation periods (tax, commercial and employment obligations).

5. Recipients and processors

Data will not be disclosed to third parties except as required by law. Processors strictly necessary for service delivery (web hosting providers, email platforms) may access data under a data processing agreement in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

6. International transfers

Where any service provider is located outside the European Economic Area, transfers will be made on the basis of appropriate safeguards provided under the GDPR (European Commission adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses).

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the website of Tecnología Marina Ximo, S.L., operated under the Marexi commercial brand. Access to the Site is free and does not require prior registration.

7. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. For the resolution of any dispute arising from access to or use of the Site, the parties, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction to which they may be entitled, submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals of Vigo (Pontevedra), unless applicable law provides for a mandatory alternative jurisdiction.
